Lovely Professional University Wins two prestigious awards at STAR NEWS National B-School Awards

Lovely Professional University has won National 'Outstanding B-School - North' & 'B-School Leadership - National' Awards at the STAR NEWS National B-School Awards, for its illustrious growth in related field. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai. The Chairman of Lovely Group Mr Romesh Mittal has himself received these coveted awards, bringing laurels not only to the Punjab but the whole of Northern region. Ms. Shaila Mehta (Onward Technologies Limited), Dr. Sunil Gupta (Chief learning officer, Ideas management consultants), Ms. Jayati Mithra (Director, ABBSCISCA) and Mr. Sanjay Muthal (MD, NUGRID) have bestowed upon these honours.

It is illustrative that the STAR NEWS National B-School Awards recognize educational institutions that are innovative, modern and industry-related in their curriculum in Marketing, Advertising, Marketing Communications, etc. The awards are well researched and chosen by an independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing talent and in recognizing the best of the best. The awards are in recognition of LPU's Innovations, Pedagogy, Infra Structure, Curriculum, leadership and allied prominent qualities towards services in the field of B-Education. The representatives of top Educational Institutes IITs, IIM and others were also present on this occasion.

Talking to Media, Mr Romesh Mittal said: "It is indeed a great moment for our Punjab State that our University is continuously emerging in the area of education to bring great name and fame to the entire region. It is also immensely pleasing me to be privileged to share the shoulders with great Institutes like IITs, IIM and such others in providing world class quality education to the young Indians." He also mentioned: "In keeping with the rich tradition of imparting quality professional education, our University was founded with a slogan 'Transforming Education, Transforming India'. We want young minds to grow into leading managers and businessmen of the world. So, it has its infrastructural setup in line with the best in the profession. It has the advantage of being the cynosure of the corporate world and the opportunity to draw from the finest in the industry." He further said: " In fact the growth of Lovely Group has regularly made a great and positive difference for not only Punjab but the Nation also."
