The heavy duty stretcher bar will give you excellent smooth stretching that causes lower resistance ensuring that the canvas lasts for a lifetime. The overall weight is also lower. But it's advisable to use braces when the length exceeds 45" in order to prevent bending. The super heavy-duty bars are very impressive in terms of strength and mass. You'll get the sturdiest bars in return for your money. The value of art and the tendency of bars to bend increase with time in case the right selection has not been made in the beginning.
