Diamond ring settings Helps in better ring selection
There are many types of diamond ring settings, listed below are some of the top ring settings which you could go with.
Prong Setting
When it comes to choosing solitaire diamonds, undoubtedly the most preferred setting is Prong setting. In this type of setting there are three to four prongs or claws that make a metal basket in which the diamond is set; making it seem as if the diamond is hanging. This type of setting is very easy to clean and makes the diamond sparkle more.
If a large diamond is placed in the prong setting, then it would look stylish and elegant and the diamond would be securely held; however that's not the case with smaller diamonds, because the diamond could look smaller or overshadowed by the claws. Hence prong setting are generally preferred for large solitaire diamonds and hence are big time favorites as diamond settings .
There are certain disadvantages to prong settings, which are, the prongs could get easily caught on hair and clothing, moreover the prongs could be easily twisted or turned and hence increasing the chance of losing the diamond.
Bar Setting
In Bar settings what we have is prongs that are placed on each side of the setting, which are fused into elongated bars, in which the diamond is placed. This type of setting makes a great option for a diamond engagement ring setting since it does not obscure the diamond that's placed in.
Bezel Setting
Bezel settings also make a great diamond ring settings, because in this setting there is a metal band that is wrapped around the circular shaped diamond in order to hold it in place. This setting provides good protection to the diamond without causing any chance of losing it, moreover the setting has been well known for its durability. This setting has a unique ability of making the diamond jewelry look larger than its actual size.

Baseball's Most Wanted Boxed Set: Baseball's Most Wanted , Baseball's Most Wanted II, and the World Series' Most Wanted $24.78 Close to forty years after Pete Rozelle first had this crazy dream of pitting football's two best teams against each other, the Super Bowl has become a uniquely American holiday. It combines food, commercials, pageantry, and, oh yeah, football. From the first Super Bowl of Green Bay versus Kansas City to Super Bowl XXXVIII between Carolina and New England, "The Super Bowl's Most Wanted(TM)" covers it all With dozens of top-ten lists packed full of trivia, you'll get tales of heroics, failures, rugged runners, laughable blunders, announcers, stadiums, awesome commercials, and even the lowly kicker, all but ignored unless he's a hero or a goat. After his 49ers shellacked the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXIV, Bubba Paris remarked, "It got to a point where, being a Christian and being a person who loves people, I actually felt sorry for the Broncos." Players are understandably tight for momentous games, but not this tight: Dallas and Baltimore combined for a whopping eleven turnovers in Super Bowl V. Amazingly, the Buffalo Bills almost matched them single-handedly in Super Bowl XXVII, turning the ball over nine times to the Cowboys. You'll read about legendary partiers and how they spent Super Bowl Eve, meet run-of-the-mill players whose one shining moment came in the Super Bowl, find out who used Super Bowl success as a springboard to Hollywood, and relive the final heroics of top stars who rode off into the sunset after the big game. "The Super Bowl's Most Wanted(TM)" has all this and so much more from professional football's biggest game. |

My Most Secret Desire $20.56 "One of the most promising of the younger graphic novelists." --Charles McGrath, "The New York Times Magazine" Considered by many to be the most influential female cartoonist ever, Julie Doucet created an iconic body of work in the ten short years she solely devoted herself to her trailblazing comic-book series "Dirty Plotte," Her comics are densely inked and detailed with a pulsating neurosis from a decidedly female point of view that set the comic-book world on its head when the series debuted. Doucet returns to comics after a five-year hiatus with a reworked edition of her dream journal "My Most Secret Desire," complete with never-before-published material. "My Most Secret Desire" is considered to be Doucet 's most innovative work, exploring the longings, pressures, and exploits of the feminine subconscious. Nightmarish tales of pregnancy, menstruation, sex changes, and boyfriends haunt Doucet's nocturnal psyche with a feverish and surreal pitch. |

The Most Human Human $11.99 The Most Human Human is a provocative, exuberant, and profound exploration of the ways in which computers are reshaping our ideas of what it means to be human. Its starting point is the annual Turing Test, which pits artificial intelligence programs against people to determine if computers can “think.” Named for computer pioneer Alan Turing, the Turing Test convenes a panel of judges who pose questions—ranging anywhere from celebrity gossip to moral conundrums—to hidden contestants in an attempt to discern which is human and which is a computer. The machine that most often fools the panel wins the Most Human Computer Award. But there is also a prize, bizarre and intriguing, for the Most Human Human. In 2008, the top AI program came short of passing the Turing Test by just one astonishing vote. In 2009, Brian Christian was chosen to participate, and he set out to make sure Homo sapiens would prevail. The author’s quest to be deemed more human than a computer opens a window onto our own nature. Interweaving modern phenomena like customer service “chatbots” and men using programmed dialogue to pick up women in bars with insights from fields as diverse as chess, psychiatry, and the law, Brian Christian examines the philosophical, biological, and moral issues raised by the Turing Test. One central definition of human has been “a being that could reason.” If computers can reason, what does that mean for the special place we reserve for humanity? From the Hardcover edition. |

The Most Fundamental Right (Hardcover) $181.14 Passed in 1965 during the height of the Civil Rights movement, the Voting Rights Act (VRA) changed the face of the American electorate, dramatically increasing minority voting, especially in the South. While portions of the Act are permanent, certain provisions were set to expire in 2007. Reauthorization of these provisions passed by a wide margin in the House, and unanimously in the Senate, but the lopsided tally hid a deep and growing conflict. The Most Fundamental Right is an effort to understand the debate over the Act and its role in contemporary American democracy. Is the VRA the cornerstone of civil rights law that prevents unfair voting practices, or is it an anachronism that no longer serves American democracy? Divided into three sections, the book utilizes a point/counterpoint approach. Section 1 explains the legal and political context of the Act, providing important background for what follows; Section 2 pairs three debates concerning specific provisions or applications of the Act; while Section 3 offers commentaries on the previous chapters from attorneys with widely divergent viewpoints. |

Tall, dashing, and charming, Sebastian was one of the most sought-after bachelors in Kent and cut a romantic figure she would not soon forget. Never did she dream that one day she would be living at his family's magnificent estate with Sebastian's father, the eighth Earl of Edgewood, as her guardian--while Sebastian is banished from his family due to the tragic results of a duel. When life at Edgewood takes a sinister turn with the earl suffering a suspicious number of life-threatening accidents, Margaret wonders if Sebastian's younger brother and his wife have grown impatient to inherit the earldom. Setting out to find the one man she believes can set the situation to rights, she discovers that Sebastian Townshend has forged a new identity for himself on the continent. Now known as The Raven, a deadly mercenary, notorious for accomplishing any mission no matter how seemingly impossible, he has vowed never to return to England. Not until Margaret meets his outrageous monetary demands does Sebastian agree to return home, reluctantly posing as her husband in order to facilitate his return to society. When he learns she cannot afford to pay his fee, he suggests a scandalous trade. As Margaret and Sebastian work to uncover the intrigue at his father's estate, a fierce passion blooms that neither of them anticipated and neither can resist.
