Be Prepared When Inspecting Your Property

If you need to take down a door, or pry up some carpet you can do so when you have an all-purpose tool with you.  Be sure to bring a ladder as well so that you can check out hard to reach places without having to stand on a chair or other wobbly object.

When you are in a neighborhood that you aren't familiar with, it's always good to be prepared.  Always have your cell phone with you so that you can call someone if the need arises.  Bringing a can of mace can help you thwart an attacking dog or person.  It's always a smart idea to bring a partner along with you, and short of that you should let someone know where you're going and when you expect to be back.  It makes sense to play it safe in a new neighborhood.
