All-New Bmw 7-Series On Indian Roads

BMW unveils the all-new 7-Series in the Indian car market. This new car is born with inspiring style, thrilling driving experience, and supreme technologies. It marks the beginning of a new era in automotive design and engineering.

BMW 7-Series is believed to the company's flagship car. Since its inception in the car market, the 7 series has undergone various modification, revealing different generations of the 7-Series. The new generation introduced in 2009 is the fifth generation 7-Series in India that will definitely overpower the top most luxury cars in the country.

Exterior

The new BMW 7-Series is impressive at the front and powerful at the rear. The large kidney grille, striking shoulder lines, flowing profile, dynamic proportions, stretched side view, sculptural surfaces, and seamlessly integrated door handles deliver an imposing visual appeal. Even at night this beauty on wheels create an inimitable effect.

Interior

Exterior elegance and beauty is continued in the interior as well. The interior represents a world of innovations reflecting luxury, elegance, and versatility. The car's interior is adorned with four-zone automatic air-conditioner, the optional contour sliding roof, multi-purpose wind deflector, comfortable seats, and a high-end car audio system. The state-of-the-art entertainment system features a 6 DVD changer along with an 80 GB hard disk and TV module. It also features 16-high performance loudspeakers and a USB port. The comfortable and flexible seats have innovative venting and massage function at the rear whereas active seats for front passengers. The innovation in car seats deliver unimaginable level of comforts for both the driver as well as the passengers.

Engine

At present BMW has introduced only the 750Li variant that will be powered by eight-cylinder, V8 with Twin Turbo engine technology that delivers an awesome power output of 406 bhp. It also provides lowest fuel consumption and emission levels. With a responsive and powerful engine technology, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds.

Performance

In terms of performance, the new BMW 7 Series has all the high-end features that improve performance. Some of the most striking features are Dynamic Damper Control and Integral Active Steering.

Dynamic Driving Control feature developed dampers that adjust automatically in accordance to the changing road and driving conditions. This in turn helps to prevent unwanted movements of the car that are caused by potholes and bumps on Indian roads.

The new Integral Active Steering controls the steering angle of both the rear and front. At low speeds the rear wheels automatically gets turned against the front wheels. It further reduces the turning circle and improves agility.

Safety

The new BMW 7-Series also has some of the most advanced safety features including the i-Drive control, Runflat tyres, Head Up display, lane change warning, lane departure warning, active cruise control, camera system, driver orientation, BMW Night Vision, speed limit display, and adaptive headlights.

BMW is the first car manufacturer to use the 'Head Up' display in the new 7 Series. This technology uses a thermal imagining camera that provides a moving video of all the objects on the path. This also gives a warning sign to the driver as soon as the car is moving towards any object that may cause danger. The i-Drive control system delivers two main function, black panel technology and enhanced resolution.
