Heavier Laptop AC Adapter Has Better Performance?

It's said that the heavier, the better for the laptop battery. is this saying right or wrong? to be frank, I have the same idea that the heavier AC adapter has better performance. Some times I will take this way to measure the quality of the adapter. Like thisDell 300M AC adapter, I don't think it's good enough for it's not so steal and heavy for me. Actually this is not scientific.
