On-Board Diagnostics – OBD is used to find the condition of the sub-systems such as engine of the vehicles. OBD readers will help to get the real time status of the engine. There are various versions of OBD readers available. In earlier models, it will just give signal if anything goes wrong in the engine. It wont provide any information about the problem in the engine. But in the latest models of OBD readers, it will provide the information in the form of codes.
