Crawford Truck's Jerr-Dan Heavy Duty Wrecker Side Recovery System

The Jerr-dan side recovery system for heavy duty wreckers allows tow truck operators to get tough work done on the side.  This Jerrdan dominates even the most challenging jobs with the Jerr-Dan SRS. It can pull from multiple angles with the boom in pulling position, the SRS can pull from the the front, side or rear, and its patent pending Pivoting recovery Boom hydraulically pivots to allow recovery from either side.

The top six reasons why the SRS for Heavy- Duty Wreckers means business.  With the boom locked into pulling position, the SRS is structurally capable of pulling at multiple angles, forward, sideways and rearward.  It reduces storage loss by utilizing the 24" space to mount- it can also be retrofitted to an existing wrecker by simply removing the 24" tunnel tool compartment.  The independent self-stowing flip down claw/ spade feature- allows for greater strength and holding power.  The standard hydraulic stabilizer legals allow the unit to fit varying frame heights from 40" to 45".  Additional tool storage capability with the optional toolbox which provides tool storage and better fit and finish.  The patent pending hydraulic pivoting recovery boom makes recovery from either side of the vehicle safe, easy and efficient.

The recommended chassis requirements for SRS-W25S and SRS-W35S are as follows.  The minimum frame RBM for both rails combines is 3,200,000 in lbs to 4,200,000 in lbs.  The Minimum front GAWR 25-ton, 30 ton and 35 ton wreckers are 16,000 lbs and the 50 ton & 60 ton wreckers are 18,000 lbs.  The frame height range is 40" to 45" while the frame width range is 34" - 35" while the additional cab to axle is 24".  The SRS also comes with optional equipment such as 24", 3/4 height driver and passenger side stand alone tool compartments, 3/4" diameter x 200' long (6 x 37 IWRC RRL EIPS) galvanized winch cable ILO standard winch cable, snatch blocks and in-cab remote control transmitter holder with audible warning signals.  These tow trucks for sale at Crawford Truck are completely customizable to your needs.  We are also able to retrofit the SRS to used tow trucks for sale.  These Jerr-Dan tow trucks are some of the best wreckers in Massachusetts available for purchase.
