The Stinger LED Rechargeable Flashlight is a new version of the Stinger Rechargeable Flashlight. This version has a redesigned body and much brighter LED instead of the old standard bulb. There are two models available with different brightness ratings. There is the Stinger LED and the PolyStinger LED which is made of a polymer plastic material. Each model comes in either a single or dual switch version. The dual switch(DS) model has a second switch on the tail of the light for thumb use.

There are three brightness settings-high,medium and low. This is a handy feature to save the battery if you need light for a long time. The advertised battery life on low power is 7.5 hours. There is also a strobe feature that is truly blinding and confusing if you are looking into the light.

The Stinger LED and PolyStinger LED flashlights will fit the original Stinger chargers. The new lights are available without chargers for a lower price so you can save some money and use your old charger if you have one. There are a few charger options available. The basic charger (10 hours),fast charger (2.5 Hours) and the piggyback charger lets you charge an extra battery at the same time as the light.
