Simple And Natural Female Hair Loss Remedies

The most common type of hair loss seen in females is androgenetic alopecia, or female pattern alopecia. The term Alopecia usually refers to full or partial balding or hair loss. It is estimated that twenty-five million women in America alone suffer from hair loss or female pattern baldness. Although on the surface female hair-loss may resemble male pattern baldness, it is actually quite different structurally. Women lose their hair for many reasons, including genetics, hormones, and even stress. Home remedies have produced excellent results in treating hair loss since ages and still these methods are widely practiced to improve the health of the hair.

1. A symptom of hair loss is fragile hair, so you need to keep your hair free from chemicals or high heat. Also, you should trim your hair often, and use styling products sparingly. Try to cut your hair where you are able to wear it down. Barrettes and ponytail holders can cause significant damage even to healthy hair.

2. Scalp Massage. Get yourself a good, stimulating scalp massage oil. My favorite is a natural scalp oil by Jason's Naturals. It can be found in natural food stores, or you may be able to purchase it online. This scalp massage oil helps stimulate circulation of the scalp and remove dead skin and deposits that may get in the way of healthy hair growth and the health of the follicles which actually are the gateway to healthy growth and maintenance.

3. Boil few pieces of Indian gooseberry in half cup of coconut oil. Let it cool down and apply the mixture on the scalp. This is highly effective in reducing hair loss.

4. Gently massage an egg yolk on the scalp. Keep it for half an hour and wash it off. This will add shine to the hair and hair loss treatment.

5. Rub olive oil on your hair for 8 days straight at night before you head off to bed. Leave the olive oil on your head overnight and wash it out in the morning. You might want to cover your pillow with plastic to stop your bed from getting all dirty. This is to remove bacteria and clear up excess sebum that has hardened on the surface of your scalp. This tip will prepare you hair for regrowth.

6. Put some blanched and scented Geranium leaves in boiling water. Strain it after it cools down and wash the hair with it. This is a very good remedy for treating hair loss.

7. We should get more of in our diets are iron, protein, and cystine. To get this you need to have fish and poultry. In terms of dairy we need milk and cheese and for vegetables we should have more spinach, lentils and whole grains. If we want to absorb the iron better, eating more vitamin C heaps. You can find this in oranges and other fruit and vegetables. For constituting the follicle, amino acids help dramatically. Green tea has this.
