Computer Repair - Upgrade or Replace a PC Hard Drive
If you have an old computer may need some reform of the computer, but it may be more economical to upgrade your computer instead of buying a new one altogether. You may need to upgrade your hard disk to get more space where you can store files and other data. Here is how to upgrade or replace computer hard drive.
Tools and materials required:

* A new hard drive
* Set Screwdriver
* Antistatic bracelet
Step 1 - Choose the most economical option
First and foremost, you need to decide which is better for your computer: to raise the level of your hard drive or buy a new computer altogether. Some online stores provide a new computer for about 200 dollars. Holders of new hard at the same price, depending on the size you want.
For upgrading your computer hard drive, you have to make sure that the processing is still a PC with additional pieces. On the other hand, if the CPU in your computer is running slowly, you may need to upgrade your computer completely, so if you want to increase only in the hard drive by 1 or 2 GB of RAM.
Step 2 - Purchase of new hard drive
Buy a new hard drive to use as a tool appropriate upgrading. There are two major forms of hard drives: Lata, and Lata S. In most cases, it is best to use the ATA as it is older than the S-ATA. You will need an adapter if you want to upgrade your computer with the old format S-ATA.
You must set the first budget and try not to exceed that budget when you buy a new hard drive. Make sure that the disk drive in accordance with the appropriate size of the desktop or laptop computer.
Step 3 - select the hard drive
The power to shut down your computer and remove everything from the connection. Open your computer and remove the hard drive. You may need to take apart your computer in order to take away the hard drive.
