CD and DVD discs are widely used today for backing up data, creating music discs, sharing files, creating photo slideshows, and keeping digital copies of home movies. Because optical media do not rely on magnetic fields to store data, most people think discs are immune to data loss. However, even discs can become unreadable for many reasons. If you have lost data or have inaccessible files on your optical media, you need to use backup to recover files. However, if you do not have a backup, even then you can restore your files, regardless of the disc type. A CD DVD data recovery tool can come to your aid, and restore your valuable data.

Data is inaccessible but the disc shows full.

Keep the CD in away from heat and sunlight, preferably in a cool and dark place. Heat and sunlight accelerate data loss in CDs.
Try to access the CD using another drive, or computer.
Try repair and polishing kit, that can work in case the damage has not extended to the data layer.
In case the data layer has been damaged, then only a third-party CD-R data recovery software can recover data from the CD. These software help you rescue lost files from bad and trashed CD, and get back important files.
