God Fills Many Task

God fills many roles as our Good Shepherd. We see Him as a pardoning shepherd and a providing shepherd. He knows our wishes before we even ask Him for help, and He pleasures in meeting those wishes ( Matthew 7:9-11 ). Not only does He provide for us, but He also defends us from attack. In that, he might be a shielding shepherd. In Psalm 23:4, what is it that comforts the psalmist? It's the Lord's rod and staff. In the same way, God moves before us, clearing the trail of the Enemy's traps and snares.
It is necessary to note, though, that Psalm twenty-three doesn't declare that God will lead us round the'valley of the shade of death,' but rather, through it. However, in the middle of the coarse journey, we are going to be ready to remain assured by keeping our eyes on the Shepherd who leads us safely home.
Have you experienced God's provision, only to fall into successive doubt and fear due to loss or hardship? My friend, God hasn't left you. He remains your Good Shepherd, leading you through the darkness and into the light, where he is.
