How to extend the bearing service life

With the development of the society, mechanization is widely used in the production and life.  Bearing as an essential part of machinery, its use will become more extensive.

Bearings mainly play the role of supporting and reducing friction in the mechanical. So the bearings' accuracy and noise are directly related to the use of machinery and service life. In addition，the bearing service life depends on the quality of the product , there are also many other important factors.

Choosing the bearings should consider many factors (for example: load, hardness, operating environment, etc.).  Good bearing design will first reach its maximum bearing life value.

Proper storage, before installation, the bearings should preferably be kept in their original packaging, and need to stay in a clean, no humidity, relatively constant temperature environment. Rolling bearings should be kept away from dust, water and corrosive chemicals. . Shaking and vibration might be able to undermine the mechanical properties of the bearing, so in the process of handling and storage should be avoided vibration. The general bearings should be level storage.

Cleaning the bearing is very important. The rotation surface of bearing ring is very smooth; it is very sensitive to damage caused by pollutants. Particle impurities will be over rolled by rolling element, which produced pressure in the bearing, will eventually lead to permanent material fatigue.
